The Katsina State Government has received a comprehensive report detailing allegations of land encroachment in the vicinity of Bakori Weekly Market, implicating officials from Bakori Local Government Council. In response to these claims, His Excellency, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda Ph.D, has taken swift action.

Governor Radda has directed the Local Government Service Commission, leveraging its disciplinary authority, to promptly address the matter. The directives include an immediate investigation into the allegations, identification of the involved officials, implementation of suitable disciplinary measures, and a prompt report to the Governor with recommendations, if necessary.
